There’s been a spate of “empowering” novels recently about older women having affairs and dalliances with younger men. And I have no problem with this. I put “empowering” in quotes because why is it empowerment when a woman does it, but not when a man does?

It should be equally empowering if you assume that adult women are not children. Mainly I am just tired of prudery and the relationship police. Equality means exactly that. Let’s have women above the age of majority be treated as adults at all times, not exclusively only when it benefits them. That’ll make for a better world for all.

EVERY fucking woman alive should read this, especially the ones who demand that men intervene in situations or public harassment. You don’t know what the fuck you are asking for. I have intervened is such situations and all times but a couple it’s been a fight. Luckily, I have never gotten shot though I got hit so hard in the side of the head one time that I felt it for weeks after.

For claiming to know so much about men (they don’t), women are utterly goddamn clueless in this area. Just laughably stupid with only a few exceptions. And the guy is exactly right. I’m strong, I’m fast and I have no problem with violence. Without a taser or something, though, there is no chance I can restrain most guys. I basically have to try as hard as I can to kill them before they kill me. That’s the way it is in reality. And that is true of guys even a lot bigger than I am. Women do not understand how strong even average guys are. There is a reason even large police officers need 3-4 of them together to restrain even scrawny-ass rednecks. It’s not because the police officers are weak. It’s because it’s very, very hard to restrain a full-grown male who is angry and not afraid to fuck you up if you give him even a free hand.

In other words, if I were Daniel Penny I probably would’ve killed that dude too. One of the reasons I do not ride public transit is because I do not want to put myself in such situations where it is likely I’d need to take someone out.

Sorry, women, but all of that is true. And if you can’t read that thread leave a comment and I’ll send you the whole thing in PDF form. You all need to understand this.

Great story, but Gen Z would see this as “sus” and harassment as a man talked to a strange woman in public. And there is an age gap.

Therefore, in their minds, he should have just let her off herself. To avoid any appearance of impropriety of course.

Lord, if I were single I’d date a 23-year-old just to piss those clowns off. And so I could drink her blood to rejuvenate myself1.

Even when it’s not AI, why do people on YouTube use that monotone uninflected “YouTube voice?” It’s even worse than “podcast voice,” which I fucking despise. Yet another reason never to listen to those turds.

Is it just attempting to mimic AI, because people expect that? Is it for ease of transcription? Even vids on there I might want to watch I just grow so so sick of them due to that damn voice.

‘They’re Just Over It’: How Trump Has Converted Male Frustration Into a Movement.

The reaction in many ways doesn’t make a lot of sense (as in actually solving anything1), but that there was a backlash is completely predictable.

For a couple of decades now since it curdled into uselessness, feminism has been spouting the idea that men are inherently evil (Schrödinger’s rapist), that an unattractive man just minding his own business and existing is “creepy,” and that men are responsible and accountable for everything, while women should have power with no responsibility or accountability.

Needless to say, that puts many men off and makes them angry. Including me. I just don’t think that punishing or hating women for it will actually fix anything. Nor will voting for Trump.

But yeah, it’s perfectly understandable to not want to vote for a party that’s supported people and still contains some people that tell you that you are inherently terrible.

Big fucking shock.

I don’t agree with everything in this piece, but Jesus Fucking Christ.

Just for a personal story of what they attempt to impress in the minds of men, I remember one guy I used to know before I stopped talking to him during covid- who apparently now goes around claiming to be a woman- who shared some meme arguing that boys should be taught that if they ask a girl out and she says no the proper thing to do is cut off all contact with her. This was somehow supposed to empower women and prevent harassment while making boys understand how to interact with women. In reality, it requires profound blindness to not see it separates women into a dichotomy of those who will have sex with you and basically bitches who hate you that you are not to speak to. No space was left for trying to get to know her better, doing something to impress her, or even just the possibility that in her feminine nature she was hoping a man would try a little harder. [In reality, one study showed that 45% of men between 18 and 25 have never approached a women in person, while 77% of women between 18 and 30 wish men approached them more, making this one of countless examples of how ideological liberals and leftists are totally detached from how normal people feel.]

That’s the fucking dumbest thing I’ve ever heard, what the person in the first part of the snippet proposed. I’ve had some really good friends (and later, even, romantic partners) result from me asking a girl out, her saying no, but we became close friends after that.

And I see posts ALL THE TIME on Reddit where women ask, “Why does no man ever approach me? I’m not ugly and I’m friendly!” Well, that’s because men are told over and over and over and over and over again that approaching any woman in public in any context makes you an evil harassing abuser and you should never, ever do it. So that’s why. Who would want to risk the usual rejection, becoming a “star” on social media and potentially having their entire life ruined because you asked some woman out in public?

Fucking no one, that’s who.

I was a reject misfit that had my ass beat pretty badly nearly every day for years. I made it out of that and prospered. Some people have it far worse than I did and still end up doing the same thing. It was probably a mistake to allow 14-year-olds to have opinions on the general internet because that’s where a lot of the, “Your life is ruined if you do one single thing wrong or if one bad thing happens to you!” ridiculousness comes from.

That, and Gen Z is actually really fragile in comparison to past generations due to helicopter parenting, smartphones and social media (the latter two are among the worst cognitohazards in history).

Listening to Covidians whinge just isn’t fun anymore. They remind me of those yappy little mutts that people drag around everywhere. You can’t for reasons of social decorum just punt those canine carbuncles into the sun, but instead are forced to endure their yipping despite nothing of value lost if the yapper in question were to be flattened by a tractor-trailer.

Though I don’t wish this fate on the Covidians, they are equally annoying when I encounter them. Yip-yap, shut ya trap.

The future is terrible. One of the reasons we’ve been holding on to all our older and/or unused monitors is that we knew this was coming. And now it’s here. I wish I could personally kneecap anyone who had anything to do with this.

I feel guilty.

As I said in an earlier post, most people don’t know anything about anything (often even their own jobs). If an end user actually knows the name of the application they’ve been using for 15 years, I’m both shocked and pleased. Most do not.

Most people rely on rote memorization to do absolutely everything. Anything more than that is completely beyond them. If it involves any thinking, it ain’t gonna happen. It’s amazing humans have achieved as much as we have given our severe limitations; most people simply are not very smart or (even worse) very contemplative.

I feel like I’m a pretty limited thinker, really. But because I think at all in a semi-concerted fashion about things I seem like a damn genius.

Despite the advantages this gives me, I do not like it much. We aren’t gonna conquer the galaxy like this.
